Making Connections

After learning about and exploring the different relationships of living things, Grade 1s now tried making connections. Working in pairs, they were given different common problems or situations happening in people's lives. Grade 1s deeply analysed the situations given to them and checked which relationship is manifested in it. They presented their argument to the whole class, who in return raised tehir hands to show if they agree or not. Surprisingly, quite a number of students were vocal about their disagreement on some argumentation and even backed it up with their own explanation and perspective. It was an enriching discussion and an impressive sharing of perspective. Everyone was open-minded and showed superb communication skills being one of the speakers or part of the audience.
