Sleepover is Over!!!
25th - 26th April 2024
Dear DSKI,
Today, we had our sleepover. We brought our sleeping bags, pillows, huggies, a change of clothes, and other things that we needed. Our parents helped us set up our sleeping bags in our classrooms. After saying bye to them (We know they will be very sad as they will miss us. We are even sure they will cry in their sleep), we did a short outdoor play while waiting for our dinner.
At dinner, we had a box of pizza, fruits (banana, strawberries, cucumber, and salad). We also had juice. We ate in a picnic style. We spread our big mat on the floorand ate together. After dinner, we played flashlight tag. It was so fun. Then we tried to look through the telescope but it was challenging to spot a planet because of its position at that time. Then we played the most exciting game to do at night time, HIDE and SEEK in the dark!!! It was soooo FUN!!!
We concluded the night with a short talk and simple reminders about being quiet until morning call time.
The next day, we woke up at around 5.30 AM. We did not want to wake up the others who were still sleeping so we quietly rolled out beddings and packed our things.
We cereal, milk, juice, yoghurt and some fruits for breakfast. We had a short movie watching together. Our parents were excited to pick us up after that. They truly missed us when we were not home.
I wish SLEEPOVER will happen more frequently. ;)
